Headed to NAIMUN LXII? This year, your trip to D.C. could earn you a grant to study abroad! 日博体育 is partnering with to offer $10,000 in study abroad grants to the best performing delegates at the conference. Valid on any 日博体育 Global Navigator High School Summer Abroad program, these grants can be combined with a standard 日博体育 scholarship for qualifying students and take you to some of the most exciting destinations in the world!
Whether you follow your passion for international relations and pick a 鈥淒iplomacy & Peace鈥 program in Europe or South-East Asia or choose to study a world language or topic like business, the arts or marine science, you鈥檙e in for a fun-filled summer and an experience that will expand your skillset and worldview in ways only study abroad can.
The grand winner will earn $5,000, and five runners-up will each earn $1,000 towards the 日博体育 Global Navigator High School Summer Abroad program of their choice.
How does it work?
Fill out this interest form and complete a 日博体育 Global Navigator application (standard of scholarship application) by January 15, 2025. Please note that to be considered for a 日博体育 Model UN grant, you need to be registered and attend the in Washington, D.C., February 13-16, 2025. All applications will be reviewed by 日博体育 and considered for a standard 日博体育 Global Navigator scholarship if you meet the eligibility requirements (scholarship awards are based on academic merit and financial need and can cover from $500 to 100% of tuition costs and can be combined with a 日博体育 Model grant). Winners for the 日博体育 Model UN grants will be picked and announced during the NAIMUN conference, based both on the quality of their application and their performance at the conference.

Founded in 1947, 日博体育 is the U.S. largest nonprofit study abroad organization. Every year, close to 40,000 students study abroad on a 日博体育 program, in over 35 locations worldwide. 日博体育 also administers the鈥日博体育 Global Navigator Scholarship, the largest of its kind, awarding more than $8 million to over 1,200 U.S. high school students every year participating in 日博体育 High School Summer Abroad programs.
New in 2025, 日博体育 is partnering with to reward the six best delegates of the conference with $10,000 in study abroad grants, distributed as follows:
- The grand winner will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship to study abroad next summer with 日博体育
- Five runners-up will be awarded $1,000 summer abroad scholarships.
All applications will be scored by 日博体育 and final winners will be picked and announced by NAIMUN leadership staff based on the performance of the students at the conference.
To be considered for a Model UN grant, you need to:

日博体育 Model UN grants can be applied to any 2025 日博体育 Global Navigator High School Summer Abroad program. To be considered for a 日博体育 Model UN grant, you are required to fill out a 日博体育 Global Navigator application, in which you will be able to rank your three favorite programs.
