LONDON
日博体育 London offers a range of housing options, including residence halls or shared apartments, to ensure you're comfortable in your home away from home. All housing options are located in neighborhoods with convenient access to public transportation, shops, caf茅s, and eateries.
Standard Housing: A dorm-style studio features twin bunk beds and includes access to compact shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Located within a 45-minute commute from the Study Centre, this accommodation offers a convenient and practical living space with easy access to campus.
Select Housing: Select housing requires an鈥痑dditional fee.
Shared apartment with twin or triple bedrooms. Each apartment features a living area, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities with a washing machine. Located in Central London, the accommodation is approximately 30-35 minutes from the Study Centre.
A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.
AMSTERDAM
All housing is located within a 45-minute commute to 日博体育 Amsterdam Center and the University of Amsterdam (UvA).
Standard Housing: Includes a single room in a residence hall.
- Residence Halls:鈥Students live in single rooms with en suite bathrooms and access to a shared kitchen and laundry facilities.

MEALS
LONDON
Meals are not provided - students will have the facilities to prepare basic meals. This may not be a full kitchen, but students can make their own food.
Students can also take advantage of a rich variety of cafes and restaurants in their housing area. Comparative Public Health students are especially encouraged to sample as wide a range of local and multicultural food as possible from the array of choices available to them within walking distance of their housing and the 日博体育 London Study Center. We will be talking about this in class as part of our course.
AMSTERDAM
- Residence Halls Students staying in residence halls are responsible for their own meals.鈥
Transportation
Amsterdam
Students are responsible for their own travel costs in and around Amsterdam. The best way to travel around the city is by bike. Whatever the weather, the Dutch will steadfastly cycle to work, school, and back home 鈥 and you can, too! 日博体育 staff will fill you in on all your options for getting a bike once you arrive onsite.鈥

日博体育 Amsterdam:鈥Study in the heart of the Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam! 日博体育 Amsterdam boasts four classrooms, a student lounge with complimentary books, an office space, and a charming outdoor patio.
日博体育 London: Study in the Bloomsbury district, one of London鈥檚 most vibrant neighborhoods set in the academic and literary heart of the city. 日博体育 London features classrooms, a student lounge, a library, a study space, a student life office, an academic advising office, a caf茅, and a garden terrace.

To help you budget, keep in mind that students are responsible for the cost of international airfare, local transportation, books and supplies, visas, and personal expenses. In addition, your college or university may charge additional fees for study abroad, or may require you to receive a transcript via 日博体育's School of Record, which carries an additional fee of $500.
