日博体育 Prague offers diverse housing options to ensure you're comfortable in鈥痽our home away from home. All housing options鈥痑re鈥痩ocated in鈥痭eighborhoods with convenient access to public鈥痶ransportation,鈥痵hops,鈥痗af茅s, and eateries.鈥
Standard Housing: Includes double or triple accommodation in a dorm-style residence hall located within 40 minutes from Prague鈥檚 historic city center and 日博体育 Prague.
- Residence Halls: Live in a dormitory-like building with communal kitchens and other common spaces.
Select Housing: Includes a double bedroom in a shared apartment located within 40 minutes from Prague鈥檚 historic center and 日博体育 Prague. Each apartment has shared common spaces, including a kitchen and bathroom. Apartments may be in student residence buildings or in residential buildings shared with local inhabitants. Select housing requires an鈥痑dditional fee.
Select Plus Housing: Includes a single bedroom in an apartment or dorm-style residence hall located within 40 minutes from Prague鈥檚 historic city center and 日博体育 Prague. Select Plus housing requires an additional fee and has limited availability.
A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.
Meals
Residence Halls and Apartments:鈥Meals are not included; kitchens are available on-site.
Academics
Students choose to enroll one, two, or three 4-week sessions, during which they explore the Czech Republic鈥檚 role in Europe and in the world today. In addition to the area course, they have an option to take a 1-credit Communicative Czech Language course. Courses are taught by experts from Charles University and other reputable higher education institutions. In-class learning is enhanced with co-curricular visits to the city鈥檚 rich variety of cultural institutions and organizations relevant to the course topics.
日博体育 Prague鈥is located in a beautiful park-like setting atop one of Prague鈥檚 hills, in the Vy拧ehrad neighborhood about 15 minutes from the Old Town area. It features classrooms, a library, a student lounge, staff offices, a caf茅, and a large garden and patio area.鈥
