Housing
日博体育 Copenhagen offers two different housing options to ensure you're comfortable in鈥痽our home away from home. Housing options鈥痑re鈥痩ocated in鈥痭eighborhoods with convenient access to efficient and clean public鈥痶ransportation,鈥痵hops,鈥痗af茅s, grocery stores, and anything you鈥檇 need to live like a true Copenhagener.鈥
Standard Housing: Includes a single room in a residence hall or a double room in a shared apartment.
- Residence Halls: Residence halls are located under 35 minutes (by public transportation or bike) from鈥詹┨逵 Copenhagen. Rooms are equipped with small kitchens and an en-suite bathroom. Residence halls feature shared common spaces with a larger, communal kitchen, multiple study鈥痑nd hangout areas, and gym facilities.
- Shared Apartments: Shared apartments feature double rooms and are located under 35 minutes from 日博体育 Copenhagen by public transportation or bike. Shared apartments each have a living room and a full kitchen.
Select Housing: Includes a double room at a private residence hall or a single room in a shared apartment.
- Residence Halls: Residence halls are located within 15 minutes (on foot) from鈥詹┨逵 Copenhagen. Each dorm room is equipped with a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom, along with shared common spaces including a communal kitchen, multiple study鈥痑nd hangout areas, and gym facilities.
- Shared Apartments: Shared apartments feature single rooms and are located within 35 minutes from 日博体育 Copenhagen (by public transportation or bike). Shared apartments each have a living room and a full kitchen.
- Select housing requires an鈥痑dditional fee.鈥&苍产蝉辫;
Note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.
Meals
Meals are not included. Students prepare their own meals in their own kitchenette or in the facility's shared kitchen. 日博体育 provides basic cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. There is also a wide range of restaurants and caf茅s located nearby.
Academics
Students take two credit-bearing courses each block of attendance. Students can also enroll in an optional Survival Danish course (non-credit) during a single block. In-class work is augmented with co-curricular visits to the city鈥檚 rich variety of cultural institutions and organizations relevant to the course offering.
日博体育 Copenhagen is located in the city center and features modern classrooms, a student lounge, and space for cultural and academic events. Students enjoy easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and public transportation.
